Folksong at FSAC.

The article presents information on the Folklore Studies Association of Canada's (FSAC) annual conference held at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Highlight of the event included the presentation of Marius Barbeau medals to Anita Best and Phil Thomas in honor of their exceptional contributions to Canadian folklore studies. Best's involvement encompasses being a performer and advocate for Newfoundland traditions while Thomas contribution pioneers folksong collection and popularizing traditional songs.
