Abstract
- The article presents a profile of the relationship between rock musicians and noted guitar players Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Particular attention is paid to the pair's first-ever co-headlining concert tour together. It is noted that both guitarists are connected by being members of the influential British blues rock band "The Yardbirds" at different times during the 1960s. The guitarists reminisce about playing with various members of the London, England rock scene such as Jimmy Page and Rod Stewart, yet they only knew each other as acquaintances at the time. The two discuss how they admired each others' work from afar and how they ended up developing a friendship after co-headlining two concerts in Japan in 2009.
