Abstract
- The article focuses on the views of British farmers on the Campaign for the Farmed Environment (CFE) scheme. Andy Barr says he welcomes the new scheme as his farm had already beetle banks, watercourses, grass buffers and other measures to protect the wildlife under the Organic Entry Level Stewardship, Entry Level Stewardship (ELS) and the Countryside Stewardship. Peter Snell believes that CFE aims to encourage farmers to continue with ELS. Simon Collins adds that CFE could help farmers comply with regulations.
