Congenitally missing or peg shaped lateral incisor are relatively frequent and determine important aesthetic problems. Modern treatments as implant-suported crowns or conventional prosthetics they both can resolve this clinical situation: individual conditions will decide the most appropriate option for aesthetic and fonctional rehabilitation. Orthodontic treatment is ussually reccommended to be performed for the preparation of the arch in patients with dimensional reduction of the prosthetic space and results are achieved in months. Although dynamics in modern life requires, in some cases, a faster aesthetic rehabilitation and modern prosthetic restauratory methods give us this possibillity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
