Abstract
- Abstract: The SnO2-doped Cu2O has been produced in aqueous solution using hydrazine as the reducing agent. Techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV–vis spectroscopy were used to comprehend the relation between structure and properties of the SnO2-doped Cu2O. The effects of SnO2 insertion on the Cu2O photo-catalytic activity for the degradation of trifluralin were reported here. The results show that SnO2-doping can greatly enhance catalytic activity of Cu2O nano-crystals. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
