Abstract
- The author reflects upon myths surrounding the journal's selection of research papers published in it. The author negates the myth that the journal selects the papers that show a high citation rate and clarifies another myth that the journal does not reject a paper on the basis of one negative referee. The author explains that the papers selected for review are analyzed by more than two referees and informs that the journal used nearly 45,000 referees in 2009.
