Accuracy of Multilevel Registration in Image-Guided Pedicle Screw Insertion for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis.

The article presents a study which examines the precision of multilevel registration in image-guided and computer-assisted insertion of skip pedicle screw for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) treatment. The study evaluated various variables, such as blood loss, from 19 patients who experienced skip pedicle screw insertion through multilevel registration. Results show that multilevel registration can minimize the time of operation without affecting the accuracy of the insertion process.
