Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 33-year-old pregnant woman with a history of endometrial ablation for menorrhagia, complained with severe right-sided abdominal pain during 26th week of gestation. Cesarean operation was performed in which she was discovered to have spontaneous uterine rupture. The article concludes that endometrial ablation can induce the risk of morbidity during pregnancy and that gynecologists must counsel women regarding the importance of contraception.
