Comparing research into mental calculation strategies in mathematics education and psychology.

The article focuses on the research project Comparing Research into Mental Calculation Strategies in Mathematics Education and Psychology in Great Britain. To identify specific areas where research in cognitive and developmental psychology could potentially inform mathematics education research into mental calculation strategies was one of the goals of the study.
