Abstract
- The article presents a longitudinal study which aims to test an empirical model that could predict return to work of employees who are absent due to physical or mental illness in Europe. The study shows that organizational and psychological factors like depression and self-efficacy have huge impact for employees for not returning to work. It states that health improvement is not enough precondition for return to work though it is necessary.
