Müdigkeit und Anämie.

We herein report on an 80-year old male patient with a history of muscle weakness, fatigue and weight loss since several months. Because of a pathologic synacthen test in combination with decreased levels of ACTH, we diagnosed a secondary chronic adrenal insufficiency. Because of a normo-chromic, normocytic, and hypoproliferativ anemia, bone marrow puncture was performed, showing an anemia of chronic disease. We initiated Hydrocortison and anemia and patients' symptoms were fully reconstituted. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
