Abstract

The article presents a study which investigates the clinical relevance of the cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) in dogs' Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) with intervertebral disc herniation (IVDH). It states that the CSF from the lumbar spine (L-spine) and cisterna magna (C-CSF) from the 19 dogs with IVDH were examined through inhibition enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). It mentions that the L-CSF in dogs with IVDH has higher values of ELISA than for C-CSF- on dogs with IVDH.
