Abstract
- Shows that the VHS domain of the GGA2 protein family binds to the acidic cluster-dileucine motif in the cytoplasmic tail of the cation-independent mannose 6-phosphate receptor (CI-MPR). Defects of receptors with mutations in the motif in lysosomal enzyme sorting; Hinge domain of GGA2 bound clathrin; Importance for lysosomal enzyme targeting.
