Abstract
- The article offers information on various Palmanura species from Latin America. The Palmanura sernaus, which originates from Colombia, has abundant palmate chaetotaxy while Palmanura goyai from Mexico measures 1.1 millimeters, which becomes the largest among the species. However, Palmanura goyai lacks the cephalic seta "G." Another species, the Palmanura hieronimus contains one palmate seta located at the dorsolateral cephalic tubercle and contains cephalic seta "G." It also notes that the Palmanura sernaus was the first species to be reported that comes from Colombia.
