Ministry of Commerce, Measures for the Administration of Outbound Investment.

The article offers information on the measures taken by the China's Ministry of Commerce (Mofcom) for the administration of outbound investment. Definitions of the terms outbound investment and special purpose vehicles are given. Different circumstances wherein an enterprise should report the outbound investment to Mofcom are identified, including a condition where it invests in a country that has not established diplomatic relations with China.
