Abstract
- The article focuses on low probability of intercept (LPI) radars and its performance in naval operations. This radar is used to reduce the risk of detection and attack by using a form of pulse compression such as been used by PILOT of Saab AB and SCOUT of Thales Nederland BV. It also mentions the basic LPI techniques, the possible counter and counter-counter measures, and its other way of concealment.
