Kills 99.9% of Germs -- Under Some Lab Conditions.

Jason Tetro, a microbiologist at the University of Ottawa, explained why hand sanitizers can whitewash actual human usage from their laboratory testing. Meanwhile, advertisers argued that U.S. regulation tends to be restrictive of the claims they make.
