Abstract
- The article focuses on the rediscovery of two palaeolithic skeletons found by Emile Rivi#x00E8;re at Balzi Rossi cave in Italy. It notes the excavation of Rivi#x00E8;re beginning in 1871 wherein she discovered various bones, particularly the two adult skeletons in Balzi Rossi. However, the bone collection of Rivi#x00E8;re was lost and was found in the collection of prehistorian G. Goury who donated it to the Mus#x00E8;e Lorrain. It provides an overview of the examination of the skeletons.
