Abstract
- The article presents a reprint of the article "Nuclear Transfer: An Example of Responsive Epistemologies," by Giuseppe Testa, which appeared in the 2006 issue of "Proceedings of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science." It discusses several developments in mammalian cloning or nuclear transfer, and the ethical issues related with cloning and embryonic stem (ES) cell studies. It examines experimental practices and artefacts related to cloning, such as altered nuclear transfer (ANT).
