The New EC Regulation on Computer Reservation Systems.

The article discusses the 2009 regulation in the European Union (EU) on computer reservation systems (CRSs) that were meant to revise the 1989 CRS regulation. The rationale for the new regulation reportedly aims to avoid competitive abuses such as denial to the access systems, discrimination in the provision and imposition of unreasonable conditions among carriers. The assessment of the EU deregulation is also compared with the CRS deregulation in the U.S.
