Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the development of a new technology for spatially and temporally controlled drug delivery based on gold nanocontainers. It reveals that the technology is leakage-free, responsive to light irradiation, monodisperse, spectrally programmable, and provides important mechanism for drug release profiles. It mentions that these attributes were realized through the employment of cargo molecules, organic dye, and the anticancer drug known as doxorubicin.
