Abstract

The article discusses profit expectations for the Standard & Poor's 500 companies in 2010. Analysts expect net income to jump between 21% and 30% compared to 2009. Although rising profit margins and stock buybacks will likely contribute to higher earnings-per-share figures, current share prices may already reflect that.
