Abstract
- The article studies the association between head circumference at birth and deaths from coronary heart disease (CHD). The study was conducted among a cohort of Norwegian men and women born between 1920 and 1959. Findings include an inverse association between head circumference and deaths from CHD. Those at highest risk of CHD include persons who were born with small heads, have a tall mother, and high body mass index (BMI) in adulthood.
