Abstract

The article provides tips for English teachers in further education (FE) in Great Britain. He advises to start the teaching with a little vocabulary basics as well as nouns, adjectives and adverbs. He then suggests to demonstrate the difference between an action and a thing. It recommends teachers to ask students which comes first between writing and speech. It advocates the use ankle swingers to represent intermediate pause and semicolon.
