ROMANIA'S GOVERNMENTAL POLITICS REGARDING RESEARCH: DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION.

From the political point of view, the main objective at national level, in the context of the launch of The Romanian National Plan for Research and Development, was the implementation of measures in view of Romania's accession to the European Union. in this sense, the fundamental goal of the Romanian National Medium Term Strategy for Economic Development launched in 2000 was: "the creation of a functional market economy, compatible with the principles, regulations, mechanisms, institutions and policies of the European Union".
