Abstract
- This paper has as objective the reduction of the necessary time that needs to be allocated to the preventive and corrective maintenance activities, through adequate optimization of the spare parts stock administration. This is also allowed by the "failures" type and moment appearance recognition, by their history that stands on the base of the predictive maintenance concept and activities. Both, finally leads to the adequate rising of the technological equipments life cycle cost. Using the stocking model calculation methodology with gradually provision, when no absence in stock may be accepted, the authors had determined the spare parts quantity necessary to the equipments restoring in operation, the spare parts being manufactured just in the same company, fact that makes possible their gradually provision. Also, one was determined the necessary maximum spare parts stock level, as well as, the time interval between two consecutive starts of the production, using equipments restored in operation behind the corrective maintenance activities.
