Abstract

Explains how nitric oxide (NO)/cyclic guanylic acid (cGMP) signaling modulates the regulation of sodium-potassium pump activity by angiotensin II in rat proximal tubules. Increase in intracellular cGMP concentration; Suggestion that NO/cGMP signaling pathway serves as a negative component in the regulation of sodium-potassium pump activity by angiotensin II.
