Abstract

Abstract: In comparison to much of the industrialized world, there is a dearth of family policy in the United States. This paper will demonstrate that one of the key reasons for the limited policies is the limited nature of the debate as a result of the way in which potential policies affecting children and families are framed. It will further examine the role of interest groups in this framing. In conclusion, this paper will provide suggestions for change. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
