Abstract

The article provides information on the weather conditions in the U.S. in July 2009. It states that the weather in the month was the coolest temperature on record in the central and eastern part of the country where the monthly averaged was eight degrees Fahrenheit below normal as depicted by the National Climatic Data Center. It cites that the most intense heat was noticed in the west region for 49 days from May 22 to July 9, where the maximum temperature ended with 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
