Abstract

The article focuses on the discovery of two new globular star clusters (GC) that contain different proportions of iron and other heavy elements in Great Britain. The researchers have suggested that light elements can be made through the fusion of hydrogen at high temperatures. They also claimed that they have detected multiple stellar populations with smaller but statistically significant variations in calcium abundance in more than half of the systems in their sample of 37 GCs. The study suggests that there is a high degree of uniformity in the abundance of iron in most GCs in the stellar population.
