The Nara International Discussion Series on Globalization, Local Identity and Ekistics.

The article presents a paper which includes a summary of questions raised during the discussion series at the 2005 Annual Meeting of the World Society for Ekistics. It discusses the questions pertaining to globalization and Ekistics, a group of people who live in Nara, Japan. It presents the questions that were raised in response to globalization including how to manage the process of globalization, and how the Ekistics framework help the society to deal with this challenge.
