Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 78-year-old man suffering from strongyloidiasis caused by the threadworm Strongyloides stercoralis. The man had been diagnosed with hypertension, chronic renal disease, heart disease, erectile dysfunction and chronic alcohol abuse. The threadworm penetrates into human skin, blood vessels and alveoli.
