Abstract
- The Western Federation of Miners (WFM), the principal organization involved in creating the Industrial Workers of the World in 1905, disassociated itself from that organization in 1907. This paper analyzes votes of the 1907 WFM convention showing that the federation abandoned the IWW more for tactical than ideological reasons. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
