Abstract: The article presents information on wines based on the Syrah grape which are considered as an ideal gift for Christmas. Sparkling Shiraz from Australia is estimated to cost from 15 U.S. dollars to 20 U.S. dollars. A South African Syrah is noted for its excellent quality and reasonable price. Syrah rosé is said to be good with all kinds of food.
