Abstract
- Abstract: This work focuses on asymptotic properties of hybrid random processes modulated by Markov chains. The underlying processes have two components that interact with each other. To highlight the different rates of changes and to reduce the computational complexity, we use a two-time-scale formulation. The motivation of the study stems from applications in manufacturing systems, communication networks, and mathematical modeling for economic systems. This paper concentrates on the development of weak convergence analysis and strong approximation for suitably scaled sequences. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
