Abstract
- The article presents a study that investigates polyphenol and vitamin contents of Iranian fruits. It examines the major compounds associated with antioxidant activity on the total phenolic and vitamin C contents of 66 fruits from 22 families which were chosen for the study. The result reveals that various fruit provides a good source of nutritious compounds which are effective in enhancing health status despite the difference in polyphenol and vitamin C contents.
