Abstract
- The article reports controversies arising from immigration issues in Singapore. It is noted that a significant portion of persons resident in Singapore are non-citizens. A number of issues are examined including increasing economic equality, the place of immigrants in Singapore's labor supply and the unwillingness of immigrants to assimilate into Singapore's social structure.
