- The article discusses turmoil at fashion house Versace. Donatella Versace succeeded her brother Gianni Versace as creative director following his death in 1997. Since then the firm has been plagued by questionable business and creative decisions. In 2009 the firm's sales will be substantially below the $1 billion recorded in 1996.
