Abstract
- The article reports on the increase of productivity in chlor-alkali industry in China to meet the demand in construction, alumina, plastic processing, paper-making and printing and dyeing industries. It discusses the capacity of producing caustic soda which reached 25.52 million t/a as of June 2009. It also reveals challenges in industry including the 2008 financial crisis.
