HARPUT MAHKEMESİNDE GÖRÜLEN NİZA DAVALARI ÜZERİNE BAZI DEĞERLENDİRMELER (1661-1693).

At the beginning of the 17.th century the state of the Otoman Empire from various aspects was very unstable and the resume of the wars in the middle of the century increased the extra burden put on the shoulders of the people. These changes formed the social and economic relations amongst the people. In such an atmosphere the suits of conflicts brought to the Harput courts reflect the social, economic and psychology states of the people and the types and subjects of mutual relations amongst them. The evaluation of the suits after giving the details about the subject list of the suits mainly concentrated, the practices to solve the suits, the identification of the plaintiffs by name, sex, religion and race etc would be very meaningful. The data and the information given in this paper are based on the outcome of the data taken from the Harput courts' registers together with their analysis and interrogations from various aspects.
