- Recent progress on the x-ray spectroscopy of kaonic helium atoms as well as on the precision laser spectroscopy of antiprotonic helium atoms are presented. Some historical background connecting these two exotic helium atoms is also discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
