Abstract
- This article describes the unusual advertisements used by small lens manufacturer Shamir Insight to distinguish itself from its competitors. Ads featuring the Rosa Parks bus incident or the hanging chads of the Florida presidential vote recount are intended to promote a specific product line. The ads were produced by Shamir Insight and its marketing vice president Matt Lytle.
