Abstract

The article presents the authors insights regarding the Philosophy of Education Society of Australia (PESA) Conferences. It notes that PESA Conference was inclined on the examination of its members on power on topics, issues, and problems raised by its members and people from outside and on how to question it and ignore the arguments. It mentions that PESA Conferences offer a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and collegiality within its members. It adds that in the 1989 PESA Conference there was an increased attendances by colleagues from other fields in the social sciences and he observed a change in direction of the work, presentations, and interests of several his colleagues. He cites the 2002 PESA Conference had been his most enjoyable and productive one.
