The article reports on the U.S. Treasurys as of October 2, 2009. It notes that Treasurys were able to recover and regain momentum in the third quarter. It is said that investors bought Treasurys with maturities from five to 30 years to gain higher yields amidst uncertainties on inflation and the commitment of the Federal Reserve to keep key borrowing costs low. Yield for the 10-year note traded at 3.23%.
