Abstract

The article discusses the possible causes and prevalence of contact dermatitis in farm workers. It notes that the contact dermatitis is the most common skin problems or occupational disease faced by farm workers due to their hazardous working conditions. It mentions the study undertaken in the U.S., North Carolina and Tennessee to determine the prevalence of occupational disease. It notes that the possible causes of skin disease include pesticides, rubber compounds and disinfectants.
