Abstract

The article discusses a family feud in Saudi Arabia that is roiling banking and social circles there. The Gosaibi clan is accusing Ma'an al Sanea--who married into the clan-- of having robbed Ahmad Hamad al Gosaibi & Bros. of millions of dollars. Bankers are writing off substantial volumes of loans made to either side. Sanea's firm, the Saad Group, has been the target of lawsuits.
