Abstract

This paper treats the proposal for the implementation of the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defence (CBRN/D) system in the safety management system of organisations which are not part of the national security system. Its basic aim is specific adjustment of human resource management in view of indications of possible use of weapons for mass destruction and attacks on soft targets - human resources. It is envisaged as one of the ways of ensuring a more comprehensive system of employee health and safety. As the legislation related to health and safety at work does not explicitly define the incorporation of the CBRN/D system into organisations outside the national security system, we propose that all employers should implement certain defence segments and use of protective equipment against weapons of mass destruction within the safety policy of their organisation.
