Abstract
- The article profiles Tesla Motors Inc. chief technical officer Jeffrey Brian Straubel, recipient of the 2009 Engineer of the Year, in the U.S. Brian took a master's degree in energy systems engineering at Stanford University's School of Engineering and worked in various companies where his work focused on the development of electric vehicles. In addition, he is working on the manufacture of Tesla's Model S electric sedan.
