Abstract
- The article discusses research showing that biomedical-journal peer reviewers prefer manuscripts that report positive health results. It notes controversy that emerged when the results were presented in September 2009 at the International Congress on Peer Review and Biomedical Publication. The article cites lead researcher Seth Leopold regarding the bias that is introduced by deterring the publication of manuscripts that show equivocal test results.
