Abstract
- The article presents a research conducted by Jean-Luc Fellahi and Yannick Le Manach regarding the efficacy of simultaneous evaluation of B-type natriuretic peptide, cardiac troponin and C-reactive protein as an effective predictor of possible long-term cardiac adverse effects and complications after the heart surgical operations. Accordingly, it is found that having a simultaneous measurement is considered as an effective provider of prognostic information in various coronary disease-related syndromes and currently observed its efficacy in cardiac surgical operations. Furthermore, researchers found that simultaneous assessment has made a contribution in improving the long-term adverse effect risk assessment of post-cardiac surgical operation.
